Young Grower of the Year is an annual competition to select the finest fruit or vegetable grower in the country.
The focus of the competition is to give young people working in the industry recognition, develop their skills and foster individual young grower leadership.
Regional competitions are held where fruit and vegetable growers compete in separate competitions throughout the country. The overall winners in the sector competitions go forward to compete for the prestigious title of Young Grower of the Year.
The Young Grower of the Year then goes on to compete in the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition.
Fruitfed Supplies’ association with the Young Grower competition is a continuation of our partnership with the industry in fostering the capabilities of our future leaders.
