Winners of the 2025 LandMarks Photo Collection Announced
Celebrating the Stories of Rural New Zealand
The LandMarks Photo Collection has once again captured the heart of rural New Zealand, with more than 2,025 submissions received in this year’s competition. From high-country stations to abundant orchards, children at play, and iconic rural landscapes, the photos tell the story of life on the land in all its richness. This annual competition is open to all, free of charge, and welcomes entries from both amateur and professional photographers. The aim: to showcase rural life, celebrate farming heritage, and highlight the people and places that help grow the country.
Congratulations to Catty Greer of Otago, whose stunning image “Glenrowan Herefords – ’til the cows come home” has been awarded the Supreme Winner title in this year’s LandMarks Photo Collection.
Capturing the timeless beauty of Hereford cattle set against a backdrop of Otago’s mountains, Catty’s photo reflects both her family’s heritage—farming Herefords since the 1960s—and the enduring connection between people, livestock, and the land. Catty has won a $1,500 Prezzy Card and her image will feature on the cover of the 2026 PGG Wrightson Calendar.
