175 Year Scholarship Application

Investing in Tomorrow’s Rural Leaders

As part of PGG Wrightson’s 175 year celebrations, we are offering two $2,000 scholarships to support the next generation of the rural sector. 

These scholarships are open to final-year students studying agriculture or horticulture at Lincoln University | Te Whare Wānaka o Aoraki, Massey University | Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa, the University of Otago | Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka, or the University of Waikato | Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato. 

Closing date: Friday, 31 July 2026.

Successful applicants will be notified in mid-August.

"For 175 years, PGG Wrightson has helped New Zealand farmers and growers adapt to change. Looking ahead to the next 25 years, what do you believe will be the biggest challenge or opportunity facing New Zealand's agricultural and horticultural industries, and how would you build on the legacy of those who came before us to address it?"
