    Graeme Bell, affectionately known as "Ding," has dedicated an incredible 56 years to the wool industry, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to his role. Graeme began his career as a wool classer after earning his Certificate in Wool from Lincoln College in 1970. His early hands-on experience gave him a strong foundation, which later led to a pivotal moment when company management invited him to join their team. For the past 12 years, Graeme has proudly served as a Wool Representative for Otago, continuing to contribute his expertise and insight.

    Throughout his career, Graeme has prioritised building meaningful relationships with his clients, considering them a cornerstone of his work. Over the years, these connections have grown into lasting friendships and valuable industry contacts, underscoring the importance of trust and collaboration in the wool sector.

    Graeme’s practical, hands-on approach, combined with his deep knowledge and exceptional communication skills, has been a key asset to the PGG Wrightson Wool team. He is particularly focused on strengthening the relationships between wool growers and end users, advocating for closer collaboration to align market demands with grower practices. This vision ensures the industry remains robust and adaptable in a changing world.

    Outside of work, Graeme enjoys spending time with his family, especially his 12 grandchildren, whose activities he enthusiastically follows as a "keen sideline grandparent." His dedication to both his professional and personal life reflects his unwavering commitment to supporting those around him.
