Meet Justin Coetzee: Connecting growers to global markets

With more than 25 years of experience across brokerage, exporting, and innovation, Justin Coetzee brings a unique global perspective to the New Zealand wool industry.

Originally from South Africa, Justin’s career began in wool brokerage before progressing into senior leadership and export roles. He’s worked at every stage of the supply chain, from supporting growers at the farm gate to marketing wool internationally, and now applies that knowledge as PGW Wool’s Wool Export Account Manager.

Based in Hawke’s Bay, Justin is focused on strengthening the link between procurement and export. He works closely with local reps, growers, and PGW’s export arm, Bloch & Behrens, to promote forward contracts and procurement programmes that deliver value in a changing market.

Justin and his family made the move to New Zealand three years ago, settling in Napier. He enjoys life in the region’s smaller communities and is excited to help local growers unlock more opportunities globally.
