How to open an account

Opening an account is a straightforward process, however we do require certain details from you about you and your business.

Please follow the steps below to for a prompt account set up.

1. Read the Customer Terms of Trade

Read our Customer Terms of Trade when opening an account. These terms form the foundation of our relationship with you. If you have any questions about the terms, please contact our Customer Services team on 0800 10 22 76.

2. Complete the Application Form. 

Please contact us on 0800 10 22 76 or email [email protected] if you require assistance while completing the form.

Remember to complete the checkbox on page 4 of the application form. Any missing information may hold up your application. 

Please note: All signatories (even if an existing customer) must provide a copy of photo ID of either a Driver Licence or Passport with the application. The ID provided will be used to verify the signatures.

4. Complete a Statement of Financial Position if your maximum monthly spend will be over $100,000

Accounts whose maximum monthly spend may be over $100,000 will need to complete a Statement of Financial Position. A Statement of Financial Position will request a detailed breakdown of all your assets and liabilities.

3. Use acceptable electronic signatures

Before submitting your application, please make sure you have read and understood our standard for using electronic signatures.

4. Submit your application

Send your completed application to [email protected], take it into your local PGG Wrightson store  or post to Private Bag 1961, Dunedin 9054.
