Based in Taranaki, Graeme works predominantly with dairy farming; providing a broad mix of one-to-one farmer client consultancy, farm supervision, management of field research trials, Agribusiness and a range of projects. He specialises in all areas of pastoral dairy farm management including farm systems development, financial planning and analysis. He also provides services in labour and share milker placement and management.
Graeme is the consultant/supervisor for the Stratford Demonstration farm where farmlet scale management trials comparing different farming systems are undertaken. Joe has many years’ experience working with individual farmers in implementing dairy farm management systems and practices in Taranaki region. He also maintains a prominent role in dairy research and development through the Waimate West Demonstration Farm.
Joe is the project manager for the MPI SFF/DairyNZ funded project ‘Integrating high yielding crops into the dairy farming system’. This project also involves working with three commercial farms and extending the results from these farms. He has a strong interest in the design and delivery of extension programmes building on the results from demonstration farm research programmes to achieve implementation.
Joe’s experience and principle-guided approach and his extensive networks throughout NZ agriculture provide a sound basis for opportunities around pastoral and forage-based dairy farming systems and dairy cow management.

Tony has a strong understanding of sheep, beef and dairy farm systems with key interests in soils and nutrient management, animal health, and climate change issues and implications. He has a good understanding of the social and economic implications around farm systems and rural communities.
Tony has well developed strengths in strategic planning and development and design of adaptive farm systems to better meet the challenges of the future. Tony is forward thinking and keen to respond to the many challenges agriculture faces. He has a long history of working with research teams and enabling new knowledge and ideas to be applied by farmers in their day-to-day business.
He is using his skills and experience around New Zealand farming systems to support high altitude dairy farmers in Colombia develop more profitable and productive pasture, animal and financial management skills and processes. In PDR Laos he is a member of the New Zealand team assisting farmers and the commercial sector implement skills and technologies that will support production and the development of a high quality beef sector.
