PGG Wrightson Directors to retire after ASM

PGG Wrightson confirmed today that, as previously signalled, the Board is to be reduced from 10 members to eight.

The change will be effected by the retirement of Richard Elworthy and Bill Baylis immediately following this year's Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, in Auckland on 29 October. Current Deputy Chair Craig Norgate will assume the role of Chairman at that time.

Bill Baylis said he would be leaving the company confident that the mix of knowledge and skills needed to guide the company through the next stage of its development has been retained, and wishing Mr Norgate every success in his new role.
