A Powerpoint Presentation on an independently conducted trial by NZSTI in Palmerston North.
A Powerpoint Presentation highlighting the growth habits, genetic benefits and trial information on Colosseum perennial ryegrass.
Manor browntop Agrostis capillaris was bred in New Zealand by PGG Wrightson Turf. It has been trialled in New Zealand at the Ceres Research Centre and in the UK at the STRI at Bingley in trials maintained as putting greens mown at 5mm in summer. Trial results from both trial sites are presented here.
A Powerpoint presentation on the Poa annua control trial at NZCHPC during 24 June 2005.
A Powerpoint highlighting the benefits of endophytes in ryegrasses.
Browntop is ideally suited to use for greens, tees, and fairways and roughs in the regions where browntop is adapted, including Tasmania, coastal Victoria and southern NSW. Browntop is adapted to temperate, maritime climates without extremes of heat and cold. With good management, however, browntop can tolerate a good deal of heat, cold and humidity. Many of the famous old golf courses in the region of adaptation are dominated by browntop in the greens, tees, fairways and rough. The region of adaptation includes Tasmania, coastal Victoria, southern NSW, New Zealand, Western Washington and coastal regions down to San Francisco, UK and coastal France.
A Powerpoint highlighting the benefits of overseeding, pointers for successful overseeding, including recent findings.
This trial aims to determine the nitrogen fertiliser programme that maximises the wear resistance of Colosseum winter active perennial ryegrass. |
