Service and Repair


The Irrigation and Pumping business unit can service and repair any make and model of irrigator, pump or system throughout the South Island.

 

PGG Wrightson can also schedule your irrigation and/or pump systems to receive a regular winter service, to ensure maximum efficiency and minimise breakdown risk during irrigation season.

 

The service section of the business is a specific commitment to our customers and is made available on farm via a fleet of service vehicles staffed by trained engineers. The Irrigation and Pumping service team can keep your irrigation system operating at peak efficiency.



Maintenance


Maintenance is critical to ensuring you are maximising your system's irrigation performance and therefore your potential returns. Different types of irrigation systems require different maintenance options.

Regular maintenance should be carried out on the pumps, water source, sprinklers, mechanical parts and the field itself.  This will increase the life expectancy of your irrigation equipment and reduce potential down time should you experience failure in the middle of the season.
